Dr. Khalid Parwezobtained his Ph.D. from Yenepoya University, Mangalore, India. Currently having a Post-Doctoral appointment at Yenepoya Research Centre, Yenepoya University, Deralakatte, Mangalore, Karnataka, India. His research area includes Applied Microbiology, Biotechnology, Nanomaterial synthesis and characterization, and Nanotoxicology. More specifically; he is working on nanomaterial based biosensors for detection of human pathogens e.g. Leptospira, MRSA, SARS CoV-2.

Dr. Khalid has authored two books, five chapters, published twenty research papers in peer-reviewed national/international journals, and scientific reports for the various magazine. He is currently handling two research projects funded by National and International agencies. He is the reviewer of various reputed journals in toxicology and nanomaterial research.
