Dr. Dijana Blazekovic Dimovska

University “St. Kliment Ohridski” – Bitola, Macedonia

Dijana Blazhekovikj – Dimovska, PhD was born on March 20, 1982 in Bitola,  Macedonia.                                                                        
She graduated in 2004 at the Faculty of Biotechnical Sciences, University “St. Kliment Ohridski” – Bitola, obtaining a professional title engineer in processing of animal products. 
In 2009, at the Faculty of Agricultural Sciences and Food, University "St. Cyril and Methodius" in Skopje she successfully defended the master thesis, gaining an academic title of Master of Agricultural Sciences from the field of Food Technology/scientific field Microbiology.
She successfully defended doctoral thesis under the title: “Parasite fauna and mycoses in cyprinid fish in the fish breeding facilities in the Republic of Macedonia” in 2013, thus gaining a scientific degree of Doctor of Biotechnical Sciences.
She is working at the Faculty of Biotechnical Sciences, University “St. Kliment Ohridski” – Bitola since 2007, first as Teaching Assistant and now as Associated Professor, where at the first cycle of studies, she conducts classes in the following subjects: Fish technology, Quality and safety of fish and fish products, Hygiene and safety in aquaculture, Fisheries and Aquaculture. At the second cycle of studies, she leads the subjects: Modern technologies in aquaculture and Hygiene and safety in aquaculture. At the third cycle of studies, she leads the subjects: Technology of fish processing and conservation and Contemporary trends in freshwater fisheries.
