Alexey Fomin is a researcher from the field of Mechanisms and Robotics. He has completed his undergraduate and graduate studies in Russia. Part of his graduate study has been done at the University of Wuppertal, Germany. He has carried out his Postdoctoral projects at the Düsseldorf University of Applied Sciences, Germany, Swiss Federal Institute of Technology in Lausanne (EPFL), Switzerland and Harvard University, USA. He is currently working at the Siberian State Industrial University as a Senior Researcher. His research interests include design, analysis, CAD simulation, and prototyping of diverse mechanical systems.
