Stavros Gourgiotis have deep and varied experience of clinical work as a physician as well as a trainer and researcher in areas related to general and emergency surgery, trauma and critical care. He have a broad training in general, laparoscopic, emergency surgery and trauma. He have been working for many years in emergency departments as Consultant and as Department Head. He have initiated numerous research projects and collaborated extensively with national and international organisations. He is committed to maintaining a high output of publications. He is running workshops of training in the management of surgical emergency/trauma patients as well as the management of surgical patients in the ICU.
