Dr. Saif Ali Chaudhry was born in District Chamba, Himachal Pradesh, India, and currently is working as Associate Professor in the Department of Chemistry, Jamia Millia Islamia (a central university), New Delhi, India. He completed his B.Sc. and M.Sc. Chemistry from Guru Nanak Dev University, Amritsar, Punjab, India. He received Ph.D. in chemistry from Jamia Millia Islamia, New Delhi. He teaches Inorganic Chemistry to B.Sc. and M.Sc. classes and his area of research includes Application of Nanotechnology in water treatment. At present Seven Ph.D. are doing research under his supervision. He has published more than 30 research papers in highly reputed international journals having impact factor more than 6 and edited one book on nanocomposites for water treatment and several book chapters in Elsevier, Springer, Wiley and CRC publications and have presented his work in more than 20 national and international conferences.
