Sagarika Mukhopadhyay is a professor in Indian Institute of Technology (IIT),Roorkee in the department of Earth Science.Awarded Cox Visiting Professor's position and Blaustein Fellowship by Stanford University for a period of 6 months (January to June 2018) and P.K. Bhattacharyya Memorial award for best student of The Dept. of Geology and Geophysics, I.I.T. Kharagpur for the year 1981.She published 103 publications(53 in SCI journals, 50 in abstract volumes)
