Saeed El-Ashram was a Distinguished Professor in School of Life Science and Engineering, Foshan University (Xianxi Campus), China. He completed his PhD in Pathobiology-Ontario Veterinary Medicine (July 02, 2009) – Guelph (Canada)/Kafr El-Sheikh (Egypt) University and PhD in Preventive veterinary Medicine (July 02, 2017)-China Agricultural University.

Research Interest:

His research interest is to understand how the animal immune system recognizes and responds to parasitic infections with and/or without microbial community and to provide information that will aid in the design of novel therapeutic strategies aimed at the prevention and/or treatment of these complicated infections. To achieve this objective, they utilize  Proteomics, Immunoproteomics, Mass Spectrometry, Next Generation Sequencing, Tetramers, Real-time PCR, Immunohistochemistry and Bioinformatic and Flow Cytometry Analyses to dissect the host-pathogen interactions in single or combined infections.
