Ronald M. Przygodzki, M.D. holds a degree in medicine from the Medical University of Warsaw, Poland. He is board certified in anatomic and clinical pathology (ABP) with subspecialization in molecular genetic pathology (ABP/ABMG). He conceptualized, drafted and guided implementation of the Million Veterans Program, currently the largest mega-biobank worldwide with nearly 700,000 volunteers enrolled. He currently is the director of Genomic Medicine Implementation, and Director of the Genomic Medicine Program for Research & Development. He leads efforts in bridging the bench-to-bedside implementation requirements within genomic medicine for the VA.
