Orchidea Maria Lecian graduated in Theoretical Physics and received their PhD in Relativistic Astrophysics at Physics Department, Sapienza University of Rome, International Center for Relativistic Astrophysics. Received postdoctoral grants from Sapienza University of Rome, Della Riccia Foundation and IHES, France. Was Postdoctoral fellow at IHES, Bures-sur-Yvette, France, APC, Paris, France, Max Planck Institute for Gravitational Physics, Albert Einstein Institute, Potsdam-Golm, Germany, and Physics Department, Sapienza University or Rome. Was International Visiting Researcher and appointed Erasmus Lecturer at Comenius University, KTFDF, Bratislava, Slovakia, with a SAIA Fellowship, and Assistant Professor at SBAI, Department for Basic Sciences and Application to Engineering, and DIAEE, Department for Astronautics, Electrical and Energetics Engineering, and Professor at DICEA, Department of Civil, Construction and Environmental Engineering, Sapienza University of Rome, Italy. Is member of several research consortia, participated in national conferences and international as speaker, is author of research papers in international journals, conference proceedings, book chapters and one book. Is reviewer for several international journals and conference organization.
