Dr Marta Stępień-Słodkowska graduated from the University of Szczecin in 1998, and in 2006 obtained a PhD degree. In 2009 she obtained a Post-gradual studies certificate in Public Health. Since 1998 she has been working at the University of Szczecin, Faculty of Physical Culture and Health Promotion, as an adjunct.She actively participates in scientific research and conferences on health. Her systematic scientific development in the field of public health and physical activity in partnership with research units in Poland and abroad has contributed to publishing many original full-text academic papers in scientific journals, chapters in textbooks and monographs. Currently she has many organizational functions at the Faculty, among others: Head of the Laboratory of Genetics.
