Luciana Marinelli has obtained her degree in Pharmacy and Ph.D. in Pharmaceutical Science at the Faculty of Pharmacy, University of Naples (Italy).  During PhD she worked under the supervision of Prof. Horst Kessler at the Institut fur Organische Chemie und Biochemie, Technische Universitat Munchen (Germany) gaining experience in design and development of anticancer drugs. On November 2014 she gained the permanent position as a Associate Professor in Pharmaceutical Chemistry at the University of Naples "Federico II”, Faculty of Pharmacy. She is author of 117 peer reviewed publications on international journals, mostly in the cancer field.
