Marilia Mattar de Amoêdo Campos Velo, DDS, MS, PhD, Post-doctoral researcher was born in Brazil and completed her Master degree in Cariology/Oral Biochemistry at University of Campinas. Now, she is a postdoctoral researcher in the University of São Paulo. As  a part of her PhD in Operative Dentistry in the University of São Paulo, she lived in Manchester (U.K). In her academic career, she developed interest in researches about prevention and oral health care. she also have been researching new bioactive restorative materials and smart materials.
