Ji-Liang Li is a Professor and Chair of Cancer Immunology, Plymouth University Faculty of Medicine and Dentistry. He obtained his PhD, Molecular Medicine, from London School of Tropical Medicine & Hygiene, University of London, UK, MMed, Medicine, Sun Yat-Sen University College of Medicine, Guangzhou, China and MD, Medicine, Suzhou Medical College, Suzhou, China. Previously from 1996–1999 was a Postdoc Research Associate, Department of Biochemistry, University of Oxford, UK. From 1999–2002 Research Fellow, Imperial Cancer Research Fund (ICRF), UK; 2002–2007 Tenured Staff Scientist/Deputy Lab Head, Cancer Research UK (CRUK), 2007–2015 is a Deputy Lab Head/Tenured Scientist, Weatherall Institute of Molecular Medicine, University of Oxford, UK.


Is a Professional Member at American Association for Cancer Research; Invited Peer Review for Research Grants/Fellowships, MRC/BBSRC/NWO (Netherlands Organisation for Scientific Research)/NMRC (Singapore National Medical Research Council)/Newton Foundation Prize, Breast Cancer Now, British Heart Foundation, Daphne Jackson Trust Invited Peer Review for >40 Professional Journals related to Gut, Blood, Cancer Research, Clinical Cancer Research, Oncogene, Journal of Pathology. And is serving as a Editorial/Scientific Board Member for may journals.
