Dr. S. Karthikeyan, born in June, 1958 is currently employed in the Dept. of Pharmacology and Environmental Toxicology as Associate Professor & HOD, Dr. ALM Post Graduate Institute of Basic Medical Sciences, University of Madras, Taramani Campus, Chennai-113. He teaches Toxicology and Pharmacology for P.G. students and M.D. Pharmacology students. He has over 28 years of Teaching and Research Experience. His field of interest is Drug toxicology, with special reference to Hepatotoxicology. He has published more than 40 papers in peer reviewed journals and authored few Chapters in Research Manuals and books. He was the visiting Professor in Gulf Medical University, Ajman, UAE and assisted the development of curriculum in M.S. Toxicology program for this Institute. Eight Ph.D. Students were awarded Ph.D. Degree under his guidance and supervision so far and he has 4 more students doing Ph.D. under his guidance.
