Dr. Margaret (Meg) Cole begin her nursing career as an RN from a diploma nursing school.  She worked Labor and Delivery, and nursery for many years.  She then obtained her BSN from the University of South Alabama and continued to work as a staff nurse.  Realizing she wanted to teach nursing she received her MSN from the University of Alabama in Birmingham as a CNS with an emphasis in education.  She begin teaching in undergraduate programs and realized how much she loved this position.  She returned to UAB to pursue a doctoral degree in nursing (DSN).  She currently teaches at Spring Hill College in Mobile, AL where she teaches Pediatrics, Maternity, and in the CNL program.
