Canturk Capik was born in Kars, Turkey in 1981. He completed theundergraduate education in the Department of Nursing inKars School of Health Sciences in Kafkas University. Then, upon getting a master's degree in the Department of Public Health Nursingin the Institute of Health Sciences in 9 Eylul University in 2006, he was accepted as a doctoral student to Program of Public Health Nursing in the Institute of Health SciencesofAtaturk Universityin the same year. Canturk Çapık, who has been serving as an associate professor in the Faculty of Nursing in Ataturk University since 2015, has publishedmore than 50 articles and completed seven projects in fields of validity and reliability, research methods, chronic diseases, and poverty. He is both a proud husband and has one child.
