Burtrand I. Lee obtained his Ph.D. from the University of Florida with dissertation on nanocomposite ceramics. He is now a Professor Emeritus at Clemson University, Clemson, SC, U.S.A. He was director of Nanofabritech® at Clemson. Dr. Lee has published over 170 technical papers, several U.S. patents and being co-editor for several books on the subject. He was an associate editor for Journal of Nanomaterials and is a member of editorial board for international nano-materials journals and a fellow of American Ceramic Society. Dr. Lee is currently with American Chemical Society in Washington, engaging in the area of nanomaterials for petroleum.
