He is a Consultant Medical Oncologist and he is responsible for the Genito-urinary cancers service at the Integrated University Hospital of Verona, Italy. He trained in Italy and then moved to the UK where he was a Clinical Research Fellow and then Locum Consultant Medical Oncologist before coming back to Italy. He holds an Honorary Clinical Senior Lecturer position at the Faculty of Medicine, Dpt of Surgery & Cancer, Imperial College, London and he is a Temporary Professor of Medical Oncology for Genito-urinary cancers at University of Verona.
