Dr. Sci. Eng. Amjad Khabaz is currently Associate Professor of Civil Engineering at Hasan Kalyoncu University in Turkey,former Vice-Dean of Faculty of Engineering, and Head of Civil Engineering Department. He was faculty member and Head of Structural Engineering Group at Majmaah University in Saudi Arabia. He has a strong expertise in research work, academic teaching, education quality, and academic accreditation. He achieved many funded and distinguished scientific researches. His research work spans from Fiber Reinforced Concrete (FRC), Finite Element Modeling to Sustainable and Green Buildings. He led structural engineering groups in several international universities, and led different work teams regarding ABET and MUDEK accreditation. He published two books; first one entitled “Non-Metallic Fiber Reinforced Concrete” and second entitled “Fundamentals of Contracts and Specifications in Civil Engineering”, and published more than 30 scientific papers in reputed international journals and conferences with more than 130 citations. He joined EBMs of different international journals in Canada, USA, Turkey, South Africa and Singapore, and joined TPC& Organizing Committee of several international conferences.
